2026 Budget Gaming GPU Tier List - Best Value Under $500
Budget GPU tier ranking focused on 1080p/1440p gaming performance per dollar. RTX 5050 offers best entry-level value, Intel Arc B580 surprises with competitive performance.

2026 Budget-Friendly Gaming GPU Tier List - The Best Choices Under ₩5,000,000
Hello everyone! It’s IT Sseolleong-i. It's already 2026, time really flies! For those of you building gaming PCs, the biggest concern is always the budget, right? It's not easy finding a budget-friendly GPU that delivers the best performance for under ₩5,000,000. So today, I’ve organized the most efficient gaming GPUs under ₩5,000,000 as of 2026 into a tier list. Let's take a look at which ones belong in each tier!
S Tier: Best Value, The King of Budget Performance
RTX 5050
The RTX 5050 offers the best value in the entry-level range.
[IMAGE: RTX 5050 | https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/50-series/]
It costs around $249, which is about ₩330,000. Benchmark results show that it can run most modern games at 1080p resolution with medium-high settings, achieving over 60fps. Plus, you can take advantage of the DLSS technology for even better frame rates. It has 8GB of VRAM, which might be a little lacking considering today's game textures, but it still offers incredible performance for under ₩5,000,000. It generally shows more stable performance than the Intel Arc B580.
ARC B580
Intel’s Arc B580 is a strong competitor to the RTX 5050.

Its biggest advantage is the 12GB of VRAM. This will be a huge benefit for those who prioritize texture quality. The price is similar to or slightly lower than the RTX 5050, around ₩300,000 - ₩350,000. Benchmark results sometimes show it outperforming the RTX 5050 in certain games, but due to driver optimization issues, performance can vary depending on the game. Therefore, if you prioritize stability, the RTX 5050 might be a better choice.
A Tier: Excellent Alternatives, Definitely Worth Considering
RTX 5040
The RTX 5040 is located in the tier just below the RTX 5050.
[IMAGE: RTX 5040 | https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/]
It costs around $280, which is about ₩380,000, and offers decent performance despite being slightly cheaper than the RTX 5050. You can enjoy most games at 1080p resolution with medium settings and over 60fps. It has 8GB of VRAM, the same as the RTX 5050, but with a slightly lower clock speed. Therefore, it’s a little less powerful than the RTX 5050, but considering the price, it's a very attractive option.
ARC B560
The Arc B560 is a more mainstream model of the B580.
[IMAGE: ARC B560 | https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/arc/arc-a560.html]
It costs around $250, which is about ₩340,000, and can produce around 60fps at medium settings in 1080p resolution. It has 8GB of VRAM, the same as the RTX 5040. Overall, it shows performance around the same level as the RTX 5040, but in some games, it performs better, and in others, it’s a little lacking.
B Tier: Decent Value, But Worth Considering a Little More Investment
RTX 4060 (Refresh)
The RTX 4060 is a previous generation GPU, but the price of the refresh models has dropped significantly, putting it in the B tier.
[IMAGE: RTX 4060 | https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/geforce-rtx-4060/]
It costs around ₩350,000. It shows performance similar to the RTX 5050, but has a disadvantage of higher power consumption. The 8GB of VRAM might be a little lacking for today's games, but it’s definitely usable at 1080p resolution.
ARC A750
The Arc A750 is Intel's mid-range GPU.
[IMAGE: ARC A750 | https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/arc/arc-a750.html]
It costs around ₩380,000 and you can expect slightly higher performance than the RTX 5050. However, like the Arc B580, it still has driver optimization issues. Therefore, while it shows amazing performance in some games, it might show lower-than-expected frames in others.
C Tier: Suitable for Entry-Level, But Recommend Investing a Little More
RTX 4050
The RTX 4050 offers the lowest performance among GPUs under ₩5,000,000.
[IMAGE: RTX 4050 | https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/geforce-rtx-4050/]
However, it's a cheap option at around ₩250,000 and is sufficient for enjoying basic games. It has 8GB of VRAM, which might be a little lacking for those who prioritize texture quality.
ARC A550
The Arc A550 is Intel’s cheapest GPU.
[IMAGE: ARC A550 | https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/arc/arc-a550.html]
It costs around ₩200,000 and is suitable for playing light games or older games. However, if you want to enjoy the latest games at high settings, you should consider a GPU from a higher tier.
Important Note:
This tier list is based on the market situation and benchmark results as of 2026. GPU prices and performance can change over time.
